Youth Pastor’s Page

Pastor Dustin and his wife Lydia have been the youth pastors at New Life Church since January of 2014. Together, they share a heart for this generation and a passion to help raise up a generation of disciples who make disciples. Pastor Dustin and Lydia strive to bring a timely and relevant message to the youth through God’s word and music.

Pastor Dustin attended Life Christian University where he earned a Bachelor of Pastoral Ministry and an Associate of Theology. He also received two years of training in Music Education at West Virginia Wesleyan College before starting Bible School.

During his free time you can probably find him playing music, out playing sports, and spending time with Lydia. He has been involved in music ministry since age twelve, and has been leading worship since March of 2006. He has been working in youth ministry since June of 2008.

Pastor Dustin grew up in church and accepted Christ at age six, but it was during his freshman year in college that he had a radical God encounter at the altar and became fully devoted to the call that God had placed on his life. He also received the baptism of the Holy Spirit during Bible School.

Lydia has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from West Virginia Wesleyan College and served as a Children’s Pastor from June of 2008 to December of 2014. She also helped Dustin in youth ministry and leading worship during this time. Lydia was also saved at age six and received the baptism of the Holy Spirit at age seventeen. She has also been involved in music ministry since she was sixteen years old, and has been leading worship with Dustin since 2007. During Lydia’s free time she likes to sing, cook, read, and spend time with her husband and cat.

Pastor Dustin and Lydia met in 2005 at West Virginia Wesleyan College, began dating in January of 2008, and were married in July of 2009. Together, they share a longing to see this generation radically transformed by the life-changing power of Jesus Christ.
