Spiritual Hydration

This past Sunday, May 3rd, was the last week in our Ignition 7 Series called “Spiritual Hydration”. We talked about the importance of making sure we stay spiritually hydrated in our walk with God. Just as the body has to have water to function properly, it is imperative to make sure we are spending time in the presence of God (our spiritual water).

When someone is suffering from dehydration, their decision making and judgment can become poor. The same is true when we become spiritually dehydrated as a result from not spending enough time in the presence of God as we can begin making decisions and doing things that we normally would not do.

We also announced the winner of our Ignition 7 Series Challenge(See the picture of the winners at the top of the post)! Matthew Herrington won 1st Place and received a free Platinum Pass to Cedar Point! Macey Phillips and Luke Pratt won 2nd and 3rd place, and received gift cards to Toft’s Ice Cream while Sydney Jackway and Hannah Shields finished in 4th and 5th places.

After the lesson and small groups we took advantage of the warm weather by playing a game of kickball to close out the night.

You can check out what we talked about by watching the video below.

Have a GREAT week!
