Last night was a GREAT night at AYM. We started off with our Tribe Huddles and Game as we usually do before moving into worship for the night.
Our GEN122 Youth Band did an outstanding job of leading us in worship after putting in a lot of hard work this month to get ready for the Night of Worship! Our goal for the night was to show students that worship is more than music and singing.
Amy, one of our volunteers, did a painting during worship, and we also had a white board set up for students to write down prayers, words of encouragement, or Scripture that God laid on their heart during the worship set.
It was a powerful and encouraging night as we watched twenty-nine students worship, some with hands raised and eyes closed, and share what God spoke to their hearts during the night.
We closed out the night by praying over the students while the students prayed for our March Madness event and the students that will hear the Gospel as a result of the month-long event.
Would you please join us in praying for March Madness? We are praying for our current students to have the boldness to invite their peers out, and that lives will be changed and new relationships with Christ will be started as a result of the event.
2018 is already shaping up to be a great year, and we are excited to see what unfolds throughout the rest of the year!
Be Blessed and have a great week!
