Hello and Happy Monday!
We changed things up a bit this Sunday. Lydia gave a brief message on Matthew 5:13NIV, “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.” Jesus called us to be the salt of the earth. Salt does two things: add flavor and preserve food. We are called to add “flavor” and light to the lives of those around us. We forfeit our impact and influence towards those around if we conform the ways of the world.
Students split into two groups to learn about to learn about different “Bible Ambassadors”— men, some at the risk of their own lives, who helped translate the Bible and spread it around the world. After students learned about their assigned Bible Ambassador, they put together a presentation/skit for the rest of the group. Students also showed ways that they too can be Bible Ambassadors today to their schools and peers.
You can check out some pictures of the night below.
Have a great week!
